LENGTH OF PROCEDURE

The appointment generally takes around 3-4 hours from start to finish. This is not a rushed procedure.

PROCESS

The first initial appointment will approximately take about 3-4 hours.

This involves:

  1. A consultation questionnaire before photos taken

  2. Measuring and drawing the desired shape

  3. There are two or three passes of microblading for each side. The first pass microblading will be done without any numbing of the area (The pain is close to getting a real tattoo). Because when numbing cream is applied the skin will become over-saturated with fluid and become rubbery and hard to work with. Also, the pigment will be absorbed as much and results will not be as satisfying if numbing cream is applied before the first pass. However, if the pain is too much numbing cream can be applied and left for 10 minutes before we resume the first pass again

  4. Numbing application and then the second pass of microblading will be done

  5. The pigment will be applied to the area and will be left to set for 5-10min

  6. After everything is done photos will be taken of your brows.

I will give you an in-depth instruction sheet and an aftercare cream for your newly micro-bladed brows. Please be advised that your eyebrows or eyes will be swollen for a couple of days after the procedures.

CLEAN EQUIPMENT

Needles are sealed and packaged and opened right before starting the procedure. They are only used for one procedure and then safely discarded. Trays, flat bib sheets, bed covers (sheets), gloves, and other instruments are sterilized before and after every procedure.

HEALING TIME

Initially, the cosmetic tattoo will be darker and slight swelling may occur. You can return to normal activities immediately. You will begin healing and may experience some dryness and scabbing in the first 5-10 days. After that, the skin will generate a protective barrier to heal over the pigment and you will notice a lightening of the tattoo. It will reappear 3-4 weeks later. Each heals differently, but it can take up to six weeks for the skin to completely heal underneath. Depending on aftercare, the healing process, and final results, many customers will need a mini touch-up at 6 weeks to fix any imperfections and build-on hair strokes implanted during the initial procedure.

Q: How long does cosmetic tattooing last?

A: Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered semi-permanent and will not wash off, however, they will fade over time and may need to be refreshed every 1 year. The frequency of sessions depends on many factors, including the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure), and if any chemical peels come into contact with treated areas. Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment in your second session and make any changes necessary. Multiple sessions are normal for cosmetic tattoo procedures, with each new procedure requiring a minimum of 2 visits. Your second session can be booked no sooner than 6 weeks after the initial appointment. Additional sessions will be charged according to our current pricing.

Q: Will cosmetic tattooing work well for me?

A: If you have extremely oily skin, the hair stroke eyebrow technique will NOT work well for you. The constant production of oil will cause the hair stroke to heal with a diffused, softer look. The result will look more powdered than you would expect. If you have little to no existing hair, your tattoo will appear more 2-dimensional than those clients who have more hair naturally. If you are a frequent smoker, your pigment may fade sooner. If you are iron deficient or Anemic, your pigment may fade sooner, and bleeding/bruising may occur during and after the procedure.

Q: What are the pigments made of?

A: The pigments used in cosmetic tattooing come in a variety of colors that are specially formulated. We offer pigments that are free from heavy metals and contain iron oxide and organic ingredients to accommodate different preferences. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Q: Can I bring a friend to the appointment?

A: No. My studio is very humble and can only fit just you comfortably. An extra person in the room can be very distracting for me, I would love to just focus all my energy and perfect your eyebrows! Your friend can set an appointment and come next time if she would like to get her eyebrows done with me.

Please read this carefully before the procedure as we take no responsibility for any information you have missed.
